I've had a special connection to animals since I was a little girl. One of my first memories is being 5 years old and getting a rat terrier puppy for my birthday. I was immediately in love! The puppy was so small and so cute. I named him Snickers. Snickers was with me throughout my early childhood until he passed near my 10th birthday. Since snickers I’ve rescued 3 dogs, 3 cats, 4 sugar gliders, and a rabbit 4 of whom make up my current crew.
